Any ideas for this newsletter will be gratefully received. The committee would like to make this a regular mailing so… ideas to Lynne please. We would like to hear of successful projects and good practice within your schools, Primary, Secondary, Special and Independent. Don’t be shy, advocate! What about ideas sharing – for instance, anyone been able to make Dewey fun???
Thank you to everyone who attended the KS2/KS3 transition day school at Ackworth School, Pontefract in October. Feedback was excellent and certainly gave us the impetus to continue onward and upward. Amelia Foster, of the Reading Agency, is heartily recommended.
Future courses – in this mailing are application forms for our two upcoming courses, on Thursday 10th February 2005 ‘Budgeting for School Librarians’ is occurring at Leeds Grammar School. On Wednesday March 2nd 2005 our Day school, with a choice of 5 different sessions and encompassing our AGM happens at South Doncaster City Learning Centre. Other courses are in the pipeline and we are looking for venues further around the region – please offer your facilities or contacts if you know of suitable venues.
We look forward to meeting you soon!
